Jazz singer, pianist, composer, and film actor Harry Connick Jr., voted one of the most elegant men alive in Longines watches’ recent “Elegance in America Survey,” was introduced in June as the Swiss luxury watch brand’s newest Icon of Elegance and Brand Ambassador during events that took place at the Tourneau watch store in New York City and at The JCK Show ~ Las Vegas.
He joins Indian movie star Aishwarya Rai, Chinese actress Carina Lau, and Russian actor Oleg Menshikov as Longines icons of today who embody universal notions of elegance, including a sense of refinement and treating others with dignity and respect.
Longines president Walter von Känel called Connick “a man of substance and great style, an ideal choice for Longines.”
Connick is now appearing in Longines’s print and outdoor advertising, with the tag line, “Elegance is an attitude.” He is also helping Longines raise money for the Audrey Hepburn Children’s Fund, which supports the Audrey Hepburn CARES Team (at the Childrens Hospital Los Angeles), for which Longines is a founding sponsor.
