Swiss newspapers report that Hamdi Chatti is the new managing director of luxury watchmaker and jeweler Harry Winston‘s Rare Timepieces division. He replaced Maximilian Busser, effective Oct. 15. Chatti was formerly general director of Montblanc Montre SA (part of the Richemont Group). Joining Chatti will be Gilles Haumont (coming from Boucheron, part of the Gucci Group), who will take over international sales.

Country music star Brad Paisley and Swiss watchmaker Tissotthis fall joined together to launch Tissot‘s PRC 200 watch. The singer-songwriter sports a PRC 200 during his public appearances. One is available to his fans as part of a radio campaign. Paisley’s appears on signage at participating Tissot retailers, and buyers of the watch get an exclusive Brad Paisley CD sampler as a gift.

Actress Kerry Washington, who starred in 2004’s Ray and was honored as Outstanding Actress in a Motion Picture at the 2005 NAACP Image Awards, appears in Movado‘s The Art of Time advertising campaign this fall. She joins celebrities Mikhail Baryshnikov, Sarah Chang, and Mía Maestro, who’ve appeared in the campaign.

Blancpain, a Swiss luxury watch brand owned by the Swatch Group, is offering $73,000 for the return of four tourbillon watches worth $362,000, stolen July 22 from the Blancpain boutique in Paris. Blancpain CEO Marc A. Hayek placed a full-page ad in Paris’s Le Figaro, offering the reward.
