The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) has issued the 2006 GIA Education catalog. The 84-page catalog explains GIA’s courses and programs offered on campus and through distance education, as well as this year’s schedule of classes.
The catalog describes how to obtain the Institute’s Graduate Gemologist (G.G.), Graduate Jeweler (G.J.), and Accredited Jewelry Professional (A.J.P.) diplomas, among others. The catalog also discusses GIA’s newly established School of Business programs: the Jewelry Business Management diploma and the newly accredited Bachelors of Business Administration degree program. GIA’s 2006 Education Catalog also includes new sections on student life and career services.
