The American Gem Society Laboratories LLC has announced that it will launch an ongoing seminar program targeting Asian retailers. The program, “The Power of Performance,” which will begin in May, provides an overview of the American Gem Society, AGS Laboratories, and the lab’s products and services. It will also teach the fundamentals of the AGS cut-grading system. The May seminars will be free to attendees.

The first seminar will be in Taipei, Taiwan, on May 8; followed by Hong Kong on May 10; and Shanghai, China, on May 12. The Shanghai seminar will be presented at the Jewellery Shanghai 2006 trade show.
