Industry leader Al Rahm has been named president of C.D. Peacock, which has five luxury retail stores in metropolitan and suburban Chicago. Rahm has 30 years of experience in the industry and recently served as president of retail for Birks & Mayors.

Jewelers Mutual has added Donna Syverson to its staff as director of personal lines marketing. Syverson, who has more than 18 years of experience in marketing, began her working career in a jewelry store and later ran her own jewelry business. She most recently worked as vice president of marketing at Capital Credit Union in Kimberly, Wis.

Frank O. LaRoux, a jewelry industry veteran with over 37 years of experience, will join Color Craft as national sales manager. LaRoux started his career in store operations with Zales and spent 27 years in retail, serving as vice president of merchandising at Kay Jewelers, Sterling, and Friedman’s. He also worked as a national sales manager for Am-Gold, general merchandise manager for LID, and, most recently, president of EMA-USA Diamond Manufacturers.

Diamond Staffing Solutions Inc. has named Rachel Treitelman Rosin as regional sales manager for the Northeast. Rosin will handle recruiting and servicing of corporate clients in the New York City, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania areas. Rosin, a graduate of the City College of New York, has served as an independent consultant to the jewelry industry since 2001. From 1981 through 2001, Rosin was the U.S. market liaison for De Beers.
