David Van Riel, an external public relations consultant, will be the new spokesman for HRD, the Antwerp, Belgium, promotional group. He replaces Youri Steverlynk.

HRD recently approved a major overhaul that gives equal weight on its board to big and small companies. It is currently searching for a new managing director, after longtime head Peter Meeus resigned earlier this year.

Philip Claes, HRD’s director of corporate affairs, will act as liaison to the Belgian government, a role that Steverlynk also held.
