Previously he served as vice president of sales and marketing for Taché USA, where he launched the luxury brand Nikos, the company’s first-ever brand devoted to men’s fine jewelry. Prior to Taché USA, Reilly served as director of new business development and customer relations for Lazare Kaplan International.

Man Sang Holdings Inc. has appointed Pak Wai Keung as chief financial officer. Prior to joining the company, Pak was a group financial controller of several listed companies in Hong Kong. He has more than 16 years of experience in the fields of professional accounting services, banking, and financial management in Hong Kong, Singapore, and the People’s Republic of China.

Verdura has announced the appointment of Jim Haag as executive director of sales and marketing strategy. Haag has more than 15 years of experience in sales and marketing in luxury jewelry. Prior to joining Verdura, he was the managing director for sales and marketing of Jacob & Co. He has held similar posts at Harry Winston and De Beers.

The American Gem Trade Association appointed Benjamin (BJ) Hackman and Eric Schwotzer to its board of directors. Hackman, of Intercolor Inc., previously served two terms on the board and has been a member of AGTA since 1982. Schwotzer, of Penn Gem International, has been a member of AGTA since 1983.

QVC has announced two appointments: Bob Ayd was promoted to executive vice president of merchandising and chief merchandising officer. Previously he held the position of senior vice president of design, development, and global sourcing and was formerly senior vice president of the fashion, jewelry, and beauty divisions. Prior to joining QVC, Ayd spent more than 20 years at Macy’s. Bob Myers was promoted to senior vice president of QVC.com. He will be responsible for setting the online strategic direction for all aspects of QVC.com, QVC’s online marketing efforts, and the company’s promotional e-mail program. Myers previously held the position of vice president of merchandising for QVC.com. Prior to joining QVC, he spent more than 14 years at JC Penney.

Avery Dennison Retail Information Services has appointed Philip Calderbank as director of marketing, RFID and Security. Calderbank will be responsible for worldwide strategy for RFID and security products. He comes to Avery Dennison RIS from software integrator Seeburger Inc., where he served as vice president, RFID. He earlier served as managing director and founding partner of Spectra Consulting Ltd.
