Tiffany & Co. will present the National Football League with the Vince Lombardi Trophy before a select audience on Jan. 26. The trophy will then be presented to the Super Bowl XLII champion on Feb. 3.
The Tiffany presentation will be held at Tiffany & Co.’s store in Scottsdale Fashion Square, Scottsdale, Ariz. Guests include: Seth Joyner, former linebacker for the Philadelphia Eagles (1986-93), Arizona Cardinals (1994-96), Green Bay Packers (1997) and Denver Broncos (1998); Kwamie Lassiter, former safety for the Arizona Cardinals (1995-02), San Diego Chargers (2003); and St. Louis Rams (2004); and Phillippi Sparks, former cornerback for the New York Giants (1992-99) and Dallas Cowboys (2000); along with Hall of Fame member and Arizona State great Michael Haynes, currently NFL vice president of player and employee development; and Tom O’Rourke, Tiffany vice president of business sales.
NFL Security will pick up and transport the trophy in an armored truck from the store to NFL Experience at University of Phoenix Stadium, site of Super Bowl XLII.
The Vince Lombardi Trophy will be on display at NFL Experience Jan. 26-27, Thursday- Jan. 31-Feb. 2, and on Super Bowl Sunday for ticket holders.
The Lombardi trophy, crafted by Tiffany, is awarded annually to the Super Bowl champion since the first Super Bowl in 1967.
