Attendance at the Jewelers International Showcase, held Oct. 17-20, was equal to past years and exhibitors reported good sales, according to JIS organizers.
A total of 11,521 buyers attended the show, according to JIS. Attendees represented Florida, much of the U.S., Caribbean, Latin America, and other parts of the world.
JIS’s new 80 booth Jewelry Galleria Pavilion was received extremely well by buyers, organizers said. Galleria participating exhibitors welcomed the new upscale presentation area and found that the draw of buyers to the pavilion was extremely successful for them. JIS said there is now a waiting list for exhibitors wishing to join this area at future shows.
