The Independent Jewelers Organization is reporting record-breaking participation at the upcoming IJO Show in Tampa, March 7–11. Representatives from more than 625 stores, or 82 percent of its members, are attending the Tampa show, a new record.
Roberts says the organization’s independent and member-oriented structure is what makes it stand apart and also why the show continues to increase attendance. IJO helps its members to be profitable and successful through a variety of ways, including,
The IJO show includes the following activities to help jewelers become successful:
* Education and training through IJO’s seminars and exclusive programs;
* Networking among members;
* Savings members receive through the 185 jewelry manufacturers (the IJO Buying Group); and
* IJO’s exclusive products and programs
“We exist for one purpose—to help independent retail jewelry stores run their businesses more successfully and profitably,” said Jeff Roberts, IJO president and chief executive officer. “We are a family-oriented entity and our purpose transcends business and extends to our membership on a personal level.”
