Platinum Guild International has named the winners of the 2008 “Platinum Sellers Contest,” a national contest recognizing sales associates within PGI’s 4P program, who sold the most number of platinum units in their store from Oct. 1 to Dec. 21, 2008.

For the third consecutive year, both Richard Wubnig of Michael C. Fina, New York, and Lisa Binder of Mervis Diamond Importers, Tysons Corner, Va., secured first and second place by selling the most number of platinum pieces.

Third and fourth places were won by Becky Hubbard and Gail Gamma, both of Mervis Diamond Importers.

The winners increased their platinum sales by more than 25 percent over 2007. PGI awarded each person with a five day, all expenses paid trip to the Greek Isles.
