The Indian Diamond and Colorstone Association plans to increase its programs and services in an effort to provide maximum assistance and value for its two hundred-plus members.
In addition to seeking new and expanded programs, the board will also seek ways to enhance the association’s major annual awards programs and internal and external communications activities.
To assist with the planning and implementation of this effort, the board has retained Jerry Buckley, president of the Buckley Consulting Group, which has strong experience in the jewelry industry and the non-profit sector.
“This year the IDCA board is focusing on expanding member services and enhancing the value of our organization to meet today’s needs,” said Haridas Kotahwala, president of the IDCA board. “We are very pleased to be working with Jerry Buckley, whose extensive experience and knowledge from his work at GIA and other non profit organizations will be of tremendous value.”
Currently, the board is exploring options to help give members more information and opportunities to strengthen their businesses.
