The names Friedman’s and Crescent Jewelers will be sold by CONSOR Intellectual Asset Management.
The intellectual property portfolio being sold includes U.S. registered trademarks such as “Friedman’s Jewelers” and “Say it with Diamonds”, as well as domain names such as friedmans.com and crescentjewelers.com, among other related, intangible assets.
Friedman’s filed for Chapter 11 in January 2008 and the company made the decision to close most of its stores in April 2008. Initial distributions under the company’s liquidation plan were implemented at the end of June.
