The
Jewelers 24 Karat Club of Southern California and its board of directors have
announced that Angelo R. Cardono, president of Jewels by Angelo Inc., and Nate
Morgan, president of Morgan Jewelers, will be honored with the organization’s
Excellence in Service Award.

Angelo
Cardono has spent over 63 years in the U.S. fine-jewelry industry. He has
served as president of the 24 Karat Club of Southern California, director of
the Jewelry Industry Council, director of MJSA, and vice president of the
Cultured Pearl Association of America.

Nate
Morgan Jr., a third-generation jeweler, began his jewelry career with Morgan
Jewelers as a mailroom clerk and glass cleaner in 1972, and has been employed
in every position at the company.

The
club’s 66th Annual Dinner Dance and Gala will be held Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010
at the Montage Resort in Beverly Hills in the Marquesa ballroom.
