A jeweler in Terre Haute, Indiana was charged with eight
felony charges for allegedly attempting to sell stolen jewelry, according to a
local news report.
According to the report, the owner of S.H. Newton Jewelers
was charged with six counts of attempting to receive stolen property and two
counts of corrupt business influence.
The owner is also facing six separate charges for allegedly failing to
keep records of purchases of used jewelry.
