Gem Diamonds announced Tuesday it found a “remarkable”
185 ct. rough white stone at its Letšeng mine in Lesotho in October.
Early examinations indicate the stone could yield top color
and top clarity polished diamonds, the company said.
This is the second large stone recovered from the Letšeng
mine in the last few months. A
196 ct. white diamond was found at the mine in August.
