One-of-a-kind: Diamond in the Rough, whose raw-­diamond engagement rings are now available online thanks to the launch of a new e-commerce site in March, has developed nine different solitaire designs featuring natural rough-­diamond center stones in shades of champagne, rose, cognac, white, and black, with naturally opaque textures and inclusions. Shanks feature micro-pavé diamond accents in platinum or 18k yellow or pink gold. Diamond engagement rings start at $3,500. Two different styles of complementary wedding bands start at $2,000.

Something Fishy: Elements of nature—including scallop motifs—inspire the latest bridal jewelry styles from former Ritani designer Harout Aghjayan, now the principal of Harout R. Approximately 125 individual bridal jewelry designs, including mountings and matching wedding bands, are available in 18k gold and platinum, with SI1 to VS clarity diamonds that are G-H in color. Simply Sensational: Sylvie Collection’s Sensation line includes 60 new mountings (no bands) that accommodate larger center stones—minimum of 2 cts.—in G-H colors and fancy shapes such as pears. Styles are crafted in platinum or 18k yellow, white, or rose gold and start at $2,070 retail.
