A line of silver and 18k gold jewels developed by Salvatore Ferragamo in collaboration with Gianni Bulgari is launching this month in select stores worldwide. Bulgari—the former co-chief of the luxury Italian brand—launched the Geneva-based Enigma, a manufacturer of fine jewelry and watches, in 1989.
The three Ferragamo jewelry lines include:
Futuristic. Inspired by the sketches created for Ferragamo in 1930 by futurist painter Lucio Venna. Pieces feature ridged bracelets, earrings, and pendants, and a graphic technique called “Spider Web,” which looks like a net of fine lines.
Vara. Takes its name from the buckle used by Ferragamo to adorn shoes. The symbol will be evident on bracelets and silver cabochon rings to which a scroll saw technique has been applied.
Gancino. An homage to the hook used as a closure for Ferragamo purses and bags.
The collection will be available starting this month in a limited number of stores in Europe, the United States, Japan, and the Asia-Pacific region. Suggested retail prices range from 770 euros to 11,200 euros ($1,016–$14,780).
