IDCA Elects Manoj Bhandari President

The Indian Diamond and Colorstone Association (IDCA) chose Manoj Bhandari, a principal of RMC Gems, as its new president at a board meeting in New York City on Dec. 6.

He takes over for Haridas Kotahwala, head of Royal India, who served as president for 2024 and is a founding member of the group.

Also at the board meeting, Kunal Shah of Pristine Gems was elected vice president, Shekhar Shah of Real Gems was named IDCA’s new secretary, and Vishal Shah of Renaissance Jewelry New York was tapped to serve as treasurer. Jay Mehta of Disons Gems will be the group’s acting joint secretary.

Elected as board members were Vineet Bokaria, Niru NY; Yatish Dangayach, Color Jewels; Parag Jain, Paramount Gems; Ajay Javeri, Diamour; Vishal Kotahwala, Royal India USA; and Saumil Parikh, Renaissance Diamonds/American Originals.
