NYC Jewelry Week Tween Workshop with Laura Inghirami: 3–4:30 p.m. ET (in person)
Calling all 9- to 12-year-olds! Laura Inghirami, professor, writer, and founder of Milan-based Donna Jewel, will introduce young people to the world of jewelry through a workshop designed to encourage their creativity, joy, and passion. Participants will get inspired by books at The Jewelry Library and then design and create a jewel for a person they love, using nontoxic and child-friendly materials.

The Hellenic Initiative’s Silent Auction: Through Dec. 7 (online)
Just in time for holiday gift-giving, Greek jewelry designers have donated items for the Hellenic Initiative’s 12th Annual New York Gala silent auction. Highlights include pieces by Nikos Koulis, Lalaounis, and Lito Fine Jewelry. Funds raised through the gala—scheduled for Dec. 7 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City—and silent auction will support economic development and humanitarian programs in Greece. The online auction runs until Dec. 7.
