Signet’s New CEO Has Taken Over

Share

J.K. Symancyk (pronounced Si-MAN-chik), 52, started his new job heading Signet, the world’s largest jeweler, last week.

The former CEO of PetSmart will be based at Signet’s Dallas office, which is becoming an important power center for the company, as opposed to its traditional hub in Akron, Ohio.

Symancyk takes over from Gina Drosos, who will remain a company adviser until the end of the year.

“It’s clear the holiday season brings out the best in our company and our team as we create joy and celebrate life’s special moments with our millions of new and loyal customers,” Symancyk wrote on LinkedIn. “Seeing that passion this week in our Dallas stores and campus makes me even more excited to help write the next chapter of Signet’s growth together. Signet team, thank you so much for your warm welcome and for all that you do for our customers and each other every day!”
