Online luxury goods reseller the RealReal has appointed company veteran Rati Sahi Levesque its new CEO.
She had been the RealReal’s president and chief operating officer, and is keeping the president title in her new role.
Levesque is considered the RealReal’s first employee, following founder Julie Wainwright, who left in 2022. She has worked at the company for 13 years, and prior to becoming president was its chief merchant.
Levesque replaces John Koryl, who became CEO in January 2023.
She had briefly served as interim co-CEO—along with former chief financial officer Robert Julian—between Wainwright’s departure and Koryl’s arrival.
