Steven Lerche has been named president of Goldstar Jewellery, the New York City–based manufacturer and distributor.
He previously served as its chief operating officer. Lerche (pictured) joined the company in 2017 as a sales associate following a brief stint in finance. In his new role, he will take over day-to-day management of Goldstar and head its sales and operations teams.
Steven succeeds Michael Lerche, his father, who will become the company’s CEO. As chief executive, Michael will lead the overall business, focus on growth opportunities, and continue to mentor his son. He opened the U.S. sales and distribution arm of Indian manufacturer Goldstar in 2004.
Michael remains vice president of the Plumb Club and a board member of the Responsible Jewellery Councll.
