Jewelers of America Elects New Board Member

Share

Jewelers of America (JA) elected New York City–based designer Sheryl Jones as its newest board member, at JA’s annual membership meeting Sept. 23.

Jones has worked in jewelry for 25 years and holds a Graduate Diamonds degree from GIA. In 2013 she opened a storefront in Manhattan’s Diamond District. Her work has been featured in Sotheby’s “Brilliant & Black” exhibitions, and she is a member of the advisory board for the Black In Jewelry Coalition.

Prior to joining the jewelry business, Jones spent a decade in the entertainment industry, serving as vice president of communications for MTV.

At JA she replaces Chad Berg, who had served the maximum three terms.
