Swatch Group–owned watch company Breguet has named Gregory Kissling its CEO, effective Oct. 1.

Kissling will report to the brand’s president, Marc Hayek, son of Swatch Group chair Nayla Hayek. He takes over from Lionel a Marca, who had served as Breguet’s CEO since 2021 and will become vice president of operations for Swatch-owned Blancpain and head of manufacturing for Swatch Group Prestige Brands, according to WWD.

Kissling is a 20-year veteran of Swatch Group and its Omega brand. After beginning his career at Cartier as a movement designer, he joined Omega as a product manager in 2004. Four years later he was named head of Omega’s product management. In 2022, he became the brand’s vice president, overseeing product development.

In that role he spearheaded the introduction of the Seamaster James Bond’s No Time to Die and 60th-anniversary editions, the revival of Caliber 321, and the debuts of the Speedmaster Snoopy and Chrono Chime watches.

Kissling is a microtechnology engineer, with an MBA and a master’s degree in luxury management.
