Jewelers of America (JA) has announced the winners of its 34th annual CASE Awards, selecting eight memorable creations from over 120 entries in the jewelry design contest.
CASE is the acronym for creativity, artistry, style, and excellence—the qualities in jewelry design recognized by the awards. JA selects first-place winners in four price categories for both the retailer and supplier competitions. One of the winners is also named Best in Show.
“Jewelers of America’s CASE Awards competition showcases the innovative designs and exceptional talents of Jewelers of America members across the country,” said Amanda Gizzi, spokesperson for the organization, in a statement. “We are proud to celebrate their remarkable achievements and the brilliance they bring to the world of fine jewelry.”
Gizzi served on the panel of design experts who judged the CASE Awards, along with Brecken Branstrator of GemGuide; writer Tanya Dukes; Natalie Francisco, National Jeweler; Adrianne Sanogo, Black in Jewelry Coalition and GIA graduate gemologist; Amina Sorel, Amina Sorel Fine Jewelry; and Alysa Teichman, Ylang 23 and Wildlike.
