Who does bows better than Unhada, a brand specializing in the whimsical and enchanted?
After seeing lots of success with her first round of one-of-a-kind statement earrings, Unhada founder and designer Jocelyn Prestia was highly motivated to make more, and—voila!—the English Rose earrings were born.
Their inspiration came from antique china that Prestia has collected, with a focus on the alluring color combination of pink and green.
“Since I am known for my chain detail, and many of my collections feature dangling chains, I liked the idea of randomly placing charms and bezel-set gems throughout the chains for a fanciful twist,” the designer tells JCK. “Almost like Alice In Wonderland meets fancy high tea in the modern-day world.”
That otherworldly charm is what makes this pair—which is in Unhada’s Tea Party collection—perfect for the upcoming Halloween season, when supernatural mixes with magical, and a sense of whimsy rules.
“Unhada strives to transport others to a fantasyland unlike any other,” Prestia says. “I often mix different stories, realms, and eras together to form the new stories I choose to tell. These earrings feel like they allow you to escape to your own private enchanted fantasyland, to regain your true power and magic—maybe enjoy some tea—before you decide to return to reality again.”
For less festive or more low-key occasions, the earrings convert to a simple pair of opal star studs—suitable in any season.
