Jewelers Mutual Group will establish an office in the high-tech hub of Raleigh, N.C., where the insurance company will develop data-driven solutions for its customers.
Jewelers Mutual will invest $5.8 million in the new office and is expected to create 200 jobs, according to the office of North Carolina governor Roy Cooper.
The new Raleigh location will be facilitated by a state Job Development Investment Grant that will potentially reimburse Jewelers Mutual $2.4 million over 12 years. Payments will only occur following verification of incremental job creation and investment targets.
Average salary for the new positions will be $169,592, significantly higher than the current average wage in Wake County, which includes Raleigh.
Jewelers Mutual’s headquarters are in Neenah, Wis.
