Audemars Piguet Unveils 3 New Royal Oak Offshore Watches

Share

If there’s one thing you can expect from Audemars Piguet’s Royal Oak Offshore designs, it’s the unexpected. The three latest additions to the watch collection effectively introduce new tones of bronze, ivory, and blue through such materials as colored rubber, stainless steel, pink gold, and black ceramic.

These new Royal Oak Offshore timepieces may break with tradition, but they have something important in common: powerful self-winding movements. All three also have glare-proof sapphire crystal and caseback.

The most expensive of the three, pictured at top, is a $47,200 model with 18k pink gold case, pin buckle, and hour markers. a gray rubber-coated gold bezel, and mosaic details on the strap. Seemingly subdued at first, there’s certainly more than meets the eye when it comes to this one.

Priced at $27,400, the Royal Oak Offshore above features a 43 mm stainless steel case against a blue rubber-coated bezel with matching interchangeable strap (it’s also available in black) and a screw-locked crown. This piece is all about the power of contrast: Two-toned elements make for one statement watch.

Perhaps more traditional than the others, this stainless steel iteration above boasts an interchangeable alligator strap that can be made more sporty when swapped for black rubber. It also features black ceramic push pieces for a distinct mix of materials, along with a screw-locked crown. This Royal Oak Offshore watch is priced at $41,600.
