New York City–based jewelry brand Tabayer has appointed Maxim de Turckheim CEO of its global business.
Nigora Tokhtabayeva, who founded the brand in 2021, will change her role from CEO to creative director.
De Turckheim previously served as head of luxury watch and jewelry buying at Mr Porter and Net-a-Porter, where he oversaw the category and managed relationships with top brands. Prior to that, he worked at Farfetch and Longines, according to his LinkedIn profile.
In a statement, de Turckheim said Tabayer had “achieved remarkable success in just three years.”
The brand is noted for its commitment to sustainability, including the use of Fairmined gold in its pieces.
