The Independent Jewelers Organization (IJO) has promoted Jennifer Herold to the newly created role of vice president.
Herold, a 22-year veteran of the group, had been its conference director and will continue to serve in that position. She reports to Jeff Roberts, owner and chairman of the Southport, Conn.–based buyers group.
“I feel very grateful to be able to continue to build on my role here at IJO after all these years,” Herold said in a statement. “I truly love what I do in my conference role, and being able to expand my responsibilities while continuing to do what I have always been passionate about is a wonderful opportunity.”
The IJO’s next conference will be held July 13–16, at the Marriott Marquis in Chicago.
