Albany, N.Y.–based retailer Frank Adams Jewelers has promoted Kimberly Adams Russell (left) to CEO.
She is the third generation of the Adams family to hold the CEO title. Adams Russell, who had been the company’s president, takes over from her father, David Adams. She has been with the jeweler since 1990.
In addition, Adams Russell’s son Jeffrey Adams Russell was appointed the store’s chief operating officer, making him the fourth generation of his family to be involved in the business. He has worked for Frank Adams Jewelers since 2019, and holds a bachelor’s degree in small business administration and management, as well as an MBA in entrepreneurial and small business operations, from Quinnipiac University.
The company also appointed Timothy Ryan its new president. Ryan has been a member of the Frank Adams team since 1998, when he joined as a store manager.
