Those who embraced last year’s quiet luxury movement, where quality materials and design and a pared-back aesthetic prevail over loud designer logos and labels, can now go straight to the source to get in on the concept. On Jan. 13, Heritage Auctions and HBO are offering clothing, jewelry, props, and other memorabilia from the award-winning hit series Succession.
Among the props up for auction are faux New York and Forbes covers (as shown above), Roy family Amex cards, Tom’s Waystar badge, and more. Other lots feature costumes and accessories, including plenty of tailored suits and, of course, the infamous “ludicrously capacious” bag, as well as jewelry worn by some of the female characters.
“This is a singular opportunity for fans to own something iconic from one of their favorite characters or sets,” said Jax Strobel, managing director of Heritage Screenbid (the auction house’s division specializing in Hollywood memorabilia), in a statement. “Who wouldn’t want to own the ludicrously capricious bag or a pair of Kendall or Greg’s sunglasses—or, for that matter, all of it? And, of course, who ever imagined they could play their own game of Boar on the Floor, complete with prop sausages? Truly, there is something for everyone who loved this show, which is anyone who watched a second of Succession.”
Here are three of the jewelry offerings in the sale, along with a possible spoiler from the series!
This four-piece jewelry set was worn by Marcia Roy, Logan Roy’s third wife, played by Hiam Abbass, in the very first episode of the series.
In episode 8 of Succession’s second season, Shiv Roy (Sarah Snook) had this glittering barrette in her hair at a gala honoring her father, Logan.
This necklace was one of the items that Kerry Castellabate—Logan’s assistant-turned-girlfriend, played by Zoe Winters—retrieved from Logan’s bedroom in episode 4 of the last season of Succession. The lot also includes Kerry’s other belongings, including a few books, beauty and hairstyling supplies, and silk loungewear.
