November is a month of transformation, a season of transition between autumn and the winter holidays.
Right about now, our pumpkins have magically turned to sparkling holiday lights, our costumes replaced with festive sweaters. We’re gearing up for the holidays, and in turn keeping the retail world busy.
My November inbox can confirm the holiday rush: jewels touted as the season’s hottest gifts (including a very affordable fashion line from fine jeweler Yun Yun Sun), the latest trends for dressing for upcoming events, and classic best-sellers are all in the subject lines, giving way to hordes of gorgeous and covetable jewels.
The November birthstone citrine makes a glorious showing, and the month’s lesser-hailed birthstone topaz is there too (not to be confused with the specific variety of blue topaz, which is a birthstone for December).
Here are some of my favorite jewels that came to my inbox this month—a roundup to be thankful for on the eve of Thanksgiving.
