Sotheby’s upcoming Luxury Week auctions in Geneva have already made headlines for their star lots, such as the incredibly rare 94 ct. paraiba tourmaline Blue Lagoon necklace that’s expected to fetch between $1.52 million and $2.54 million and the Vienna 1900: An Imperial and Royal Collection of jewels from European royal houses connected to Austria’s Habsburg dynasty that were rediscovered after decades. But the Magnificent Jewels and Noble Jewels sales feature plenty of other prized pieces, both vintage and contemporary, including classic cascading diamonds and ruby jewelry by Harry Winston, Mughal-inspired designs from Cartier, exceptional Van Cleef & Arpels evening jewels, and bold Bulgari pieces like the house is known for.
Magnificent Jewels and Noble Jewels will take place Nov. 6–8 at the Mandarin Oriental in Geneva. Below are a few of the highlights.
