The Jewelers Board of Trade has announced that its Sectional Red Book is now available on the iPad and iPhone.
The mobile app allows sales executives to call up company names, addresses and credit ratings for jewelry businesses in specified geographic territories.
The app can be customized by territory, including the 50 U.S. states, Canada, Washington, D.C., New York City, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. JBT members can purchase a six-month subscription for $35 for one to 10 territories or $45 for 11–25 territories.
The app, which comes on the heels of a version for Android phones, can be downloaded for free for JBT members at iTunes or Google PlayStore.
“Our members need easy, instant access, especially when traveling, to identify and reach potential customers,” said Dione Kenyon, president of JBT, in a statement. “Current users of the Android version of this app tell us they are very pleased with their capabilities. We are excited to now meet the needs of iPhone/iPad users as part of JBT’s ongoing efforts to be the go-to information resource for the jewelry industry.”
