Ben Bridge Gives $110,000 in Grants for 110th Anniversary

In honor of its 110th anniversary, Ben Bridge Jeweler has awarded more than $110,000 in grants to 11 programs in California and the Pacific Northwest region.

The Seattle-based jeweler received over 40 applicants from the various communities in which its operates. A special panel was created to determine who receive the grants.

“Ben Bridge has always been about diversity,” said Lisa Bridge, president and CEO of Ben Bridge, in a statement. “For our 110th anniversary, we wanted to celebrate by investing in the next generation of diverse leaders. We are proud of the communities we serve and want to ensure a strong, vibrant, and equitable next 110 years.”

Each grant has been given to programs that focus on education and leadership. The 11 recipients of the Ben Bridge 110th Anniversary Grants are as follows: Black Coffee Northwest Grounded, Homeboy Industries, Team Read, Tacoma Urban League, Bellevue Schools Foundation, YMCA Seattle of King and Snohomish counties, Journeymen Institute of Puget Sound, Athletes for Kids, Red-Tailed Hawks Flying Club of the Pacific Northwest, Impact Public Schools, and the Black in Jewelry Coalition in partnership with the North Seattle College Watch Technology Institute.
