Pre-owned Rolex marketplace Bob’s Watches has unveiled a rare collection of special-edition watches in collaboration with Goop, the lifestyle brand founded by Oscar-winning actor Gwyneth Paltrow.
Curated by Bob’s Watches co-owner and chief operations officer Carol Altieri, the collaboration comprises 14 Rolex Stella and specialty dial watches Altieri collected during the last 12 years as lead buyer for the company.
“For 12 years as lead buyer at Bob’s Watches, I have had the privilege to review thousands of watches per month,” said Altieri in a statement. “Every once in a while, that unique piece comes across my desk. Rather than offering them for sale, I have saved them for my personal collection in fear of never seeing another one again. I am offering 14 pieces for sale. These watches are intended for a buyer that is looking to wear and enjoy something unique, all while making an investment for generations to come. I hope you enjoy the curation!”
The watches, which have a total value of more than $400,000, are available for sale on Bob’s Watches website, as well as at Goop‘s.
For Altieri, Goop seems the perfect partner through which to offer this collection, noting in a statement that “we are seeing an increase in our female clientele who seek investments, but also invest in themselves for daily enjoyment. These special watches will surely become family treasures handed down to the next generation.
