Serge Couvreur has been appointed the new general manager of the HRD Antwerp grading lab, replacing Georges Brys.
Couvreur studied at HEC (Haute Etudes Commerciales) and holds a degree in commercial management and marketing.
“I understand the fundamentals of HRD Antwerp and it is my ambition to further build on its core values—technology, objectivity, and ethics—both on a national and international level,” Couvreur said in a statement.
In his six-year tenure, Brys was credited by the lab for increasing the lab’s international presence by opening labs in Mumbai and Turkey.
