Zodiac-inspired jewelry isn’t new. In fact, fine jewelers such as Van Cleef & Arpels have offered these celestial gems since the ’50s. But lately, we’ve been seeing a lot more of them. Celebrities including Rihanna, Hailey Bieber, and Meghan Markle (remember the Logan Hollowell Taurus and Gemini Constellation necklaces she wore on her 40th birthday broadcast in honor of her children?), among many others, have been spotted sporting the stellar trend more and more frequently over the last year or so.
And at a time when people are looking for signs of optimism in anything, why not? Thankfully, there’s no shortage of whimsical, zodiac-themed pieces of jewelry. Keep reading for just a few. (Leos, we already know you’re “adding to cart.”)
Alighieri prides itself on handcrafting heirlooms meant to last a lifetime and beyond. This zodiac, therefore, was not only created to have meaning but also longevity. And thanks to its handcrafted nature (in London’s Hatton Garden), no two pieces are exactly alike.

A more abstract zodiac interpretation than some of the other pieces out there, Tiffany & Co.’s celestial pendant takes the form of the sign without spelling it out. And, of course, each piece is made from sterling silver, which the jeweler is known for.
Less about the symbolism, Marlo Laz’s zodiac band is a playful option that is meant to be stacked and personalized with other wave styles. It can also be made by special order with custom enamel colors and stones.
Van Cleef & Arpels recently released a new collection of pieces, reinterpreted from its original Poetic Astronomy line, that fall right in line.
