While many jewelry houses shift their strategies to focus on more sustainable efforts, family-run Italian jeweler Buccellati embraced this idea with the debut of its Vintage collection during Paris Haute Couture earlier this month. The 37-piece collection showcases highlights from the brand’s archives, spanning from the 1940s to the 1990s. “The creations to be displayed are rooted in the Buccellati family’s history,” the luxury jeweler stated in a release. “They are symbolic of the stylistic evolution of the maison, which has always upheld exceptional standards and unerring loyalty to its own DNA.”
Wherever possible, each jewel is kept in its original, period case; and if the case no longer exists, those pieces are secured in case reproductions of their time period. Each item comes with a certificate of guarantee, including an image of the product and copy of its original design. The collection is available at Buccellati boutiques around the world: Milan, Rome, Paris, London, New York, and Los Angeles. Below are select jewels from each decade.
