JIS Spring, which will be held March 13–15, announced that it will bring a new element to its home at Florida’s Miami Beach Convention Center—a Turkish jewelry pavilion.
The international pavilion is a collaboration with the Turkish Jewellery Exporters’ Association, a nonprofit affiliated with the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Trade.
Aside from JCK Las Vegas, this is the only other pavilion solely dedicated to Turkish jewelry in the United States and will feature more than 25 companies offering a range of products including 14k and 18k gold jewelry, diamond jewelry, and artisan-made designer jewelry.
The location of the show offers the Turkish exhibitors access to a new community of customers, particularly markets in South America and the Caribbean.
“We understand the importance of the U.S. market especially as the leading importer of gold and silver jewelry in the world,” said Mustafa Kamar, president of the Turkish Jewellery Exporters’ Association, in a statement. “As Turkey is one of the leaders of jewelry exports, there is a huge opportunity to expand Turkish exports into the U.S. market. Turkish jewelers have set a target of doubling our jewelry trade within the U.S. in the next three to four years. To meet that target, we are moving forward more aggressively to communicate and market the importance and value of Turkish jewelry more than ever.”
Exhibitors set to appear in the Turkish pavilion include Alper Tuncoku, Aris, Casa de la Joya, Çilek, Diamera, Diya Diamond, Elis Jewellery, Eris Jewellery, Flora, Gür Jewellery, Hosgor, Kocak, Lulu Jewellery, Neva Diamond, Niche Istanbul, Onka, Piano Jewellery, Sign Diamond, Serkan Kömür Handmade Luxury Jewellery, Simya Jewelry, Star Pirlanta, Storks, Tarz Jewellery, Tuana Jewellery, and Turkish Jewellery.
Three other pavilions will comprise the JIS Spring show—Fine Jewelry, Silver & Fashion, and the Galleria—featuring nearly 300 domestic and international wholesalers and brands, both established and new.
The Product Showcase Lounge is also a new addition to the show and will display some of the latest products and brands in an upscale and comfortable environment and offer light refreshments.
“Over the past few years, we have received valuable feedback in post-event surveys that our buyers want to quickly identify and discover what’s new and trending for the upcoming season. The new Product Showcase Lounge will give them the ability to do exactly that while networking with industry peers, enjoying refreshments, and having a place to sit down and plan their time on the show floor,” said Lauren van Rensburg, marketing director for JIS Events, also in a statement. “We are always listening to the needs of our buyers, and we’re pleased to test the concept at JIS Spring—with hopes of expanding the lounge at JIS Fall this October.”
JIS events are scheduled according to seasonal buying cycles, making them well-timed for retailers looking to stock up on the latest available products, with the choice of immediate delivery on the show floor or orders for future shipment.
Registration for JIS Spring is now open to all qualified buyers and trade professionals.
