It’s the first jewelry design collaboration headline of the year and brings the strengths of two high-profile bridal brands together in perfect harmony—for the second time. In a follow-up to last spring’s launch collaboration, the 2.0 edition likewise pairs the gemstones of Brilliant Earth, a well-known leader in ethically sourced bridal and fine jewelry, with setting designs by Tacori, the veteran bridal brand with a decades-long obsession with zeitgeist-approved aesthetics (and an abundance of savvy marketing tactics).
The collection consists of six engagement rings and four wedding bands, with the former largely composed of classic round brilliant solitaires and a gazillion ovals (further proof that this fancy shape is here to stay for a while—just thank Kourtney Kardashian for her fall 2021 engagement).
Look closely and you’ll see that the design elements are inspired by the delicate and feminine details of a wedding gown.
“At Tacori, we’re all about the small details—the subtle touches that make a piece unique and give it a story of its own,” said Nadine Tacorian Arzerounian, chief operating officer and design director of Tacori in a statement. “This collection was inspired by…the draping of a gown, the beading on a bodice, or hidden embroidery in a veil.”
The partnership is reflective of both brands’ ongoing commitments to provide customers with exquisite jewelry held to exceptional standards. In the official announcement, Brilliant Earth cofounder and CEO Beth Gerstein said, “We are so excited to kick off the new year with a deeper partnership with Tacori. Each of these pieces exemplifies our commitment to providing our customers with design individuality, expert craftsmanship, and sustainable fine jewelry.”
Each gem and precious metal is ethically sourced and offered in settings of 18k yellow, white, or rose gold, or platinum. Powered by online visualization and customization tools, Brilliant Earth also offers customers the functionality to personalize their own center diamond or gemstone within this collection.
Starting Monday, the collection will retail exclusively on Brilliant Earth’s website and in a complement of select showrooms.
