Logan Hollowell Brings Magic and Minimalism to a Fresh Retail Store

Share

Jewelry designer Logan Hollowell is known for her luxurious creations, but she also wants her brand and her retail showroom to help create community among her clients and to make them feel like the jewelry they wear sparks some magic in their lives.

That is the inspiration behind Hollowell’s new retail location in Santa Monica, Calif., which is nicknamed the Goddess Den. Hollowell says she wanted a larger space where positivity is emphasized, people feel connected, and anyone who shops there can find a piece that can become an heirloom.

“My team and I have seen firsthand what our jewelry can do to transform someone’s life, simply because they placed an intention behind it and trusted in their intuition,” Hollowell says. “And we know it’s only just begun.”

Logan Hollowell Jewelry is handcrafted in Los Angeles using 14k and 18k recycled gold as well as ethically sourced gemstones from around the world. Each piece is created with handpicked gemstones based on the intuition and feeling that Hollowell receives from the stone and its beauty.

To create the showroom at 1205 Montana Avenue, Hollowell worked with local interior design firm the House of Porter to focus on clean lines and minimal visual distractions so the gems, brands, and clients are the ones that shine. The showroom opened in November.

Having a retail space is important to Hollowell, who says she wants not only to have a place where her clients can see her work but also host events “that empower our customers and provide them with the type of experiences I always dreamed of,” she says.

“I want each client that comes in to feel special, divine, and valued,” Hollowell says. “I want them to connect with a piece of jewelry that will make an impact on their life—something that they can place an intention behind and wear as a reminder of that. It all begins with the intention behind the piece.”

In terms of design, Hollowell says each detail was chosen to be both luxe for the customer and functional for her team.

“We wanted each detail to be intentional, so you’ll notice special bespoke touches such as our custom cabinetry and artisan display cases. It’s a place you can take your girlfriends or your significant other and feel right at home,” Hollowell says.

That focus on her team is purposeful, Hollowell adds.

“My team, our energy, and each piece of jewelry make this space stand out from the rest,” Hollowell says. “We want each person that walks through our doors to feel special and to find an instant heirloom that empowers them to manifest their intentions or helps them tell a unique story.”

Hollowell also says she wants her work to be recognized as transformational—because it has given her a larger purpose as well.

“It’s more than just jewelry. From the very beginning when I started designing, I knew that I wanted to use jewelry as my medium to make a difference. I am here for a much bigger mission than creating pretty and shiny jewelry,” Hollowell says. “I show up for my purpose and passion because I want to make people feel better, more themselves, more connected, more alive. I want to inspire my community to believe in magic, to open their hearts and minds to their limitless potential.”
