You’re probably familiar with Danhov’s wildly popular bridal collection, Abbraccio. The award-winning line delights with swirling movement, where curved lines literally embrace (the translation of the Italian word abbraccio) the center stone. It’s a truly beautiful, romantic collection, so it comes as no surprise that it does so well among shoppers in the market for engagement rings. But for those clients that aren’t browsing your bridal showcases, there’s good news: Danhov has brought its fluid designs to fine jewelry.
The Abbraccio Fine Jewelry collection, available this November, exhibits the same loving embrace in design that makes the bridal collection so popular, but does so with a range of colored gemstones and, of course, diamonds. Earrings, pendants, and bracelets in 14k or 18k white, yellow, or rose gold, as well as platinum, make up the sweetly colorful line.
“Danhov is known for the swirl in our Abbraccio collection, and I love being able to utilize it in designs beyond our unique engagement rings,” says owner and designer Jack Hovsepian. “Creating earrings and other fine jewelry pieces featuring our Abbraccio swirl is something I’ve wanted to do for awhile, so to see these handmade pieces come to life is very exciting.”
I’m so pleased that Danhov is offering this collection—I’ve long been an admirer of the Abbraccio engagement rings, but happy with my own, have no reason to need one (unless it’s OK for me to have an engagement ring for every day of the week, which might be a tad excessive). But now, I’m free to indulge. Anniversary gift, perhaps? Hubby, are you reading this?
In all seriousness (not that I wasn’t being serious), this is a beautiful collection for special occasions: anniversaries (ahem), birthdays, weddings, and “just because” for gift-givers or self-purchasers. Retail prices range from $2,800 to $33,000, and custom creations are available, too. The collection is available starting this November, so get your showcases ready. I have a feeling you’re bound to have some best-sellers on your hands (or ears, wrists, and necks!)
