Rahaminov has always been one of my must-see destinations at JCK Las Vegas, from my very first time attending, 10 years ago. I always come away having worn millions of dollars’ worth of diamonds—if only for a few moments—and honestly, even after a decade of these visits, the experience still makes me feel like some sort of star.
But mega-bling isn’t all that the Los Angeles–based, family-run brand is about—there are other exhibitors on the show floor of Luxury that boast high-dollar, high-carat goods, too. While major diamonds are still a given, Rahaminov has transformed in the last few years to take on a high-fashion-house aesthetic, where the goods are defined by luxury but also by a sense of well-honed style. It feels young, fresh, and refined—but still oh so rich.
Recently, the brand has been introducing more colored gemstone pieces than ever. And, like its diamond pieces, each selection beams with a cool luxury that will appeal to a wide range of shoppers.
“Tamara Rahaminov Goldfiner has always had a passion for colored gemstones and has continuously designed colorful jewelry mainly for herself,” says Melanie Goldfiner, Rahaminov’s director of business development, of the company’s founder (who is also her mother). “In the past few years, however, and especially during the pandemic, Tamara really had the opportunity to develop her collection further. Each piece of jewelry was designed as a work of art, and these colored gemstones have definitely been her avenue for self-expression. This collection isn’t just about looking good, it’s about feeling good, and in a colorful and happy mood, despite the world around us. Even during lockdown when we stayed home, it was very fun to wear color on Zoom calls!”
As for JCK Las Vegas, Goldfiner tells JCK you can count on a wide array of new inventory in a range of designs. “The pandemic definitely impacted the way we do business. Despite the challenging times, we never halted our manufacturing nor our buying. We have never been afraid of owning new inventory and it definitely paid off. Our expansive inventory and the increased overall demand for luxury goods have caused our business to remain strong. We definitely missed seeing our friends and colleagues and look forward to catching up with them in just a few short weeks! We are also excited to unveil our new designs and marketing campaigns.”
