If New York City jewelry publicists didn’t already have some stiff competition for clients, they most certainly do now considering that D’Orazio & Associates, a Beverly Hills, Calif.–based public relations firm founded in 2001 by Ginnina D’Orazio, has moved into Manhattan.
D’Orazio specializes in brand awareness and development and celebrity placement for fine jewelry brands such as Le Vian, Carla Amorim, Brumani, and Baccarat. The agency also recruited Danielle Gadi, who served as PR director at Fragments in New York City for four years, to head up the newly opened editorial office as senior publicist.
Upon release of the news, D’Orazio told the media that a Manhattan office has been in the works for some time, but one nagging task held up its debut: the right person to run it. “I’m delighted that Danielle Gadi will be heading up operations in New York City,” said D’Orazio. “She has a wealth of jewelry expertise and is very well regarded in the PR world. Our Beverly Hills showroom is a well-known destination for celebrities and stylists, and having a bicoastal presence will allow us to increase exposure for our clients by working closely with New York–based editors and stylists.”
The office aims to increase client exposure through relevant editorial shoots, product placement opportunities, and feature stories, as well as direct events, product previews, editor desk-side appointments, and assisting with editorial appointments at trade shows.
Gadi can be reached at 212-537-5810 or Danielle@doraziopr.com.
