Andrea Hansen of LuxeIntelligence has been elected president of the Women’s Jewelry Association, with Brandee Dallow of Julius Klein Group voted in as president-elect.
Hansen succeeds Tryna Kochanek of Sterling Jewelers, who is now immediate past president. Kristie Nicolosi of the Kingswood Company continues in her position as WJA treasurer.
“In deciding on a theme, the word transformation kept coming up over and over in our conversations,” said Hansen in a statement. “Our industry is in a time of transition, and WJA would like to address the challenges that professionals and businesses face in understanding new consumer habits. We want to help our members adapt their business practices to thrive in the highly digital, omni-channel, socially engaged market we serve.”
Joining the group’s executive committee are Kendra Bridelle of Lusciouss International as vice president of administration; Becka Johnson Kibby of the Edge Retail Academy as vice president of chapter affairs; Peggy Jo Donahue of MJSA as vice president of communications; Katie Dominesey of Frederick Goldman as vice president of education; Natalie Humphrey of Forevermark US as vice president of events; Lita Asscher of Royal Asscher of America as vice president of international affairs; Andrea Hill of StrategyWerx as vice president of leadership development; Cindy Edelstein of Jeweler’s Resource Bureau and Fran Pennella of Benali Consulting as co-vice presidents of membership development; Diane Warga-Arias of DWA Communications and Anna Martin of Standard Chartered Bank as co-vice presidents of sponsorship development; and Ann Arnold of Arnold Advisory Group as vice president of scholarships.
The three regional directors for WJA are: Desiree Hanson of Luxury Privé, U.S. regional director, Eastern; Janel Russell of Janel Russell Designs, U.S. regional director, Central; and Jenny O. Calleri of T-Bird Jewels, U.S. regional director, Western.
