Last night in Tribeca, 35 members of the Women’s Jewelry Association Metropolitan Chapter got a firsthand look at diamond jewelry designer and teacher Kristin Hanson’s beautiful gallery and workshop during the group’s first networking event of the year. The event was held at 60 Reade St. in Tribeca, and Hanson served cranberry Cosmopolitans while guests mingled in her 6,000-square-foot showroom, event space, and jewelry school. Guests cleaned and steamed their own pieces while learning about the jewelry-design instruction available under Hanson’s tutelage.
“I think it is essential in developing professionalism to aim for continual and increased education,” Hanson told the media post event. “I cannot overstate how important it is to increase business capabilities through establishing a networking system with other entrepreneurial women in the same field.”
