Denver-based private jeweler and loose diamond retailer the Diamond Reserve continues to expand. In September 2019, the company bowed its second store, in downtown Denver. Now it’s doubled the size of its main office and showroom in Denver’s Cherry Creek neighborhood to accommodate more private transactions.

Diamond Reserve owner and president Kaeleigh Testwuide, who acquired the business in 2015 when it was a marketing company that generated ads for jewelers, tells JCK, “We have been growing and growing more than I could have ever imagined. When I started in this business, my goal was to sell a diamond a day. Now we are selling three to four diamonds a day. The office expansion allows us to book two appointments at the same time.”

It also improves the flow of the space, she says, explaining, “We require an appointment for every type of service, and now we can have a pickup appointment at the same time as an engagement ring consultation, allowing privacy for all parties—which is one of our top priorities.” The expanded office is also making it easier to onboard a new employee: Training can happen in one area while consultations happen in another.  

The now-600-square-foot office, located at 100 Fillmore St., also makes for easier social distancing during appointments: “Our offices are appointment only, so this alone accommodates social distancing nicely,” Testwuide notes. “We wear masks at all times, and our clients are required to as well. After each meeting all surfaces are thoroughly cleaned. Although we wish we could, we are not shaking hands with our clients at this time. People get it, and they respect it.”
